How To Get Over A Broken Heart
Get Your Ex Back – Getting Over A Broken Heart
The hardest part of any breakup is getting over your heartbreak.
You feel hurt. You might even feel embarrassed or humiliated about the breakup.
You already know the signs of a broken heart…
1. You always want to know what your ex is doing.
2. You stay by your phone or leave your cell phone on all the time hoping your ex will phone you.
3. You check your emails and text messages looking for a message from your ex.
4. You recall the good times you had with your ex.
5. You feel lonely and depressed because your ex isn’t with you.
6. You’re reminded of your ex when you hear a song or see a particular movie.
7. Your heart starts pounding when you see your ex or get a message from your ex or talk to your ex.
Your heartbreak might even drive you to do things you wouldn’t normally do – snooping on your ex…or “accidentally” bumping into your ex…or contacting your ex’s friends and family to find out what your ex is up to.
If you do any of these things, then you’re making a mistake which could jeopardize your chance to get your ex back.
How To Get Over A Broken Heart
Getting over a broken heart isn’t easy.
But there are ways to deal with your heartbreak, especially if you want to get your ex back.
First, stay active and keep your mind off your breakup.
That means getting out and doing things with your friends or family – even when you don’t want to.
Mingle with other people, do charity events, exercise, and look for ways to have fun.
Because the more you focus on things other than your ex and your past relationship, the faster you’ll be able to control your emotions and move forward with a cool head.
Second, avoid playing songs or doing things that remind you of your ex. Otherwise, it reinforces your heartbreak and it will take longer to get over your broken heart.
Third, avoid watching sad movies. Instead, look at comedies and sitcoms and listen to comedians. These will take you mind off your breakup and lighten your spirit.
Fourth, avoid finding comfort in food and eating junk food. A breakup is a time when you want to look fit and healthy. (Click on either of the following links to find out how to get a sexy, flattering figure or 6 pack abs and a sculpted body.)
Fifth, avoid talking about the breakup all the time. Sure, it’s okay to vent and let off steam with a close friend. But to replay your relationship or breakup all the time will simply make you feel worse.
Remember, it takes time to get over a heartbreak. In the meantime, you need to focus on things other than your past relationship.
Create A Get Back Together Plan
Even if you’ve broken up, there’s still a chance you can get your ex back – even if your ex tells you he or she doesn’t want to get back together with you.
If your goal is to get back together with your ex then you increase your chances by creating a plan.
By creating a Get Back Together Plan you focus your energies on getting back together, not on what you lost.
Even as you work through your plan, you’ll very likely have emotional ups and downs.
That’s normal. Just stay focused and follow the relationship advice in your Get Back Together Plan.
